mPAO is synthesized via a metallocene catalyst process, representing the latest-generation of PAO synthesis technology.

As a single-sited catalyst, metallocene catalyst enables the production of a more homogeneous and uniform molecular structure of PAO. The comb-shaped structure and narrowed molecular weight distribution of mPAO deliver a series of improved performance advantages over conventional PAO.

PAO is a hydrogenated Oligomer produced by polymerizing α-olefins (primarily C8-C12) in the presence of a catalyst, which is mainly composed of saturated hydrocarbons and wax-free.

Compared to mineral oils, PAO exhibits excellent low-temperature properties, high viscosity index (VI), low volatility and thermal stability. Classified as API Group IV base stock, PAO is widely used, especially in lubrication applications that require good stability under extreme operating conditions.

Alkylated Naphthalene is produced through the alkylation reaction of Naphthalene with linear α-olefins under catalyst.

As an API Group V base stock, AN offers outstanding thermal stability, oxidation stability and hydrolysis stability. Besides, AN exhibits significant synergistic effects with various base stocks and additives, improving the overall formulation performance.

Esters are synthesized through catalytic esterification and dehydration of organic acids and alcohols, making them one of the most widely used synthetic base stocks today.

By reacting different acids with alcohols, synthetic esters can exhibit diverse properties. Esters can generally provide excellent lubricity, good solubility with additives, thermal-oxidation stability, low volatility, and biodegradability.
